Each year, the production of traditional paper business cards results in a potential loss of nearly six million trees. Shockingly, within a week after receiving a business card, almost 90% of them are discarded, many ending up in landfills. Approximately 42% of globally harvested wood is used to make paper, leading to deforestation and habitat destruction. This excessive use of trees for paper production is a major concern, as trees store 50% of all terrestrial carbon, making them crucial buffers against climate change.

Kedaz's technology-integrated digital business cards allow for precise information exchange and convey environmental awareness through beautiful imagery. They contribute to achieving the Sustainable Development Goals by planting one trillion trees to combat climate change, in partnership with the United Nations Environment Programme. In today's visual era, they bring together people from different regions to create and utilize beautiful images on technology business cards, spreading the message of environmental awareness and achieving sustainable development goals. With the increasing number of users each month, they have already planted over 6,000 trees in just one year. They aim to plant over one million trees in total, making a significant impact in tackling the climate crisis.

Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) movements for positive change:

Inspired by JCI's slogan "Agent of Change," Kedaz is a strong advocate for charitable causes. His company regularly engages in CSR activities, providing photography training in orphanages, schools, and workshops with waived fees for disabled and orphan participants. Kedaz and his Amazing Team actively participate in CSR programs, utilizing their professional photography and videography skills to create positive change and impactful imagery that influences and helps society. Their mission to create happiness led to the "Buy One Help One Program," providing professional photography services to capable families and free photography services to underprivileged families, promoting happiness and community development. This program has positively influenced families in 30 countries worldwide. Additionally, Kedaz collaborated with the OPPO brand and was invited to be a "Cultural Ambassador" under the "Preserving Culture and Heritage" program. Through smartphone photography, he has reached over 650,000 audiences, raising awareness about the significance of preserving cultural heritage in Asia and beyond.

Kedaz's Journey of Growth:

Kedaz's exceptional achievements at a young age have established him as one of the most reputable professional photographers in the world. As a photography goodwill ambassador, he has brought great honor to Malaysia in the international photography community. His accomplishments in the photography industry are truly remarkable, especially considering the lack of official resources to nurture artists and photographers in Malaysia. Being a self-trained photographer, he won his first prestigious international award at the WPPI competition in 2009 and repeated the feat with 20 award-winning submissions at the WPPI Las Vegas in 2010. Previously, world-famous photographers were concentrated in the West, and they perceived Asian photography as lagging behind. This motivated Kedaz to tirelessly enhance his skills and attract the attention of professional organizations and photographers in Western countries towards Malaysian and Asian photographers. To date, Kedaz has accumulated more than 550 awards. He is a highly sought-after photography mentor and is regularly invited to prominent international events and summits, including those organized by WPPI (USA), MPA (UK), MPA (China), MWP (Turkey), PWS (Greece), ASIAWPA (Hong Kong), and WPPA (Southeast Asia) and More.

Kedaz's educational program has provided photography education to students from all over the world, attracting participants from diverse countries in every session. Graduates are offered opportunities to become trainers, contributing to the continuous growth of the Academy. To date, this impactful program has conducted more than 100 offline and online classes and workshops in 51 major cities across 30 countries, with a total of 10,368 students graduated.

Since 2014, countless Western photographers have chosen Kedaz as their mentor to learn photography. He has been invited to represent Malaysia in over 20 international competitions as a judge, sharing experiences and promoting innovation among students and photographers from the US, UK, Greece, Turkey, Italy, France, China, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Singapore, Macao, the Philippines, and many more countries. As a representative of Asian Chinese photographers, Kedaz is fluent in three major languages - Chinese, English, and Malay, and has been appointed as the first ambassador for the Master Photographers Association in China.

In 2020, Kedaz co-founded the COSMOS Awards, an international competition focused on photography and filmmaking. Esteemed judges from all over the world provide critiques to help participants hone their craft. The first competition, held in Europe and Asia, attracted approximately 2,500 participants from 190 countries. By 2023, the COSMOS Awards have reached their fourth session, with 47 renowned Master Photographers serving as judges.

Despite his extraordinary achievements at a young age, Kedaz maintains a humble character and applies his artistic talent to inspire the continuous development of the global photography industry while actively contributing to humanitarian efforts for underprivileged communities.
